Project

The title of the project as defined by the Playbook Administrator.

Milestone Title

Major Milestones within a project are shown on separate rows. The title of the Major Milestone is displayed in this column and only Major Milestones are displayed.

Status

This shows the status (level of schedule risk) of the Major Milestone using the buffer chart.

For example, this Major Milestone is in the High Risk region of the buffer chart, therefore in the Status column it would say "High Risk" and be colored orange. The accuracy of the Status is also related to the Warnings Score.

PSL - Status

Other Values:
"Error: No Matching Buffer" - a buffer task is not present or not configured properly.PSL - Error - no matching buffer
"Start Date Not Defined" - the Tracking Start Date is not properly defined in the buffer task.PSL - Start date not defined
"Not Started Yet" - the Tracking Start Date is in the future.

Impact Reasons

This shows the causes of delays as well as countermeasures taken to gain buffer.

Impact Reasons are listed in the Major Milestone's Description by the Project Leader. The required format is date<space>reason with each reason on its own line (there must be a carriage return between reasons).

Active Critical Tasks

The active critical task related to activities that lead to the Major Milestone are listed in this column.

A blank indicates that a critical task is not currently being worked on which is a call to action.

Variance from Previous Week

The number of weekdays the Major Milestone has moved since the Baseline 1 date.

See Baseline 1 settings in Report Settings for details.

Warnings Score

This is a quality measure of the plan leading up to the Major Milestone. 

  • Low scores mean the plan is up-to-date therefore you can trust the Status column. 
  • High scores mean the plan is not up-to-date therefore you cannot trust the Status column which is a call to action.

Warnings Score is calculated as follows...
= 1 point per out-of-date Active task + 1 point per max # of days out-of-date Active task + 1 point per out-of-date Planned task + 1 point per max # of days out-of-date Planned task + 1 point for each unlinked task + 1 point for each unassigned task.
